Susan Mock

Susan Mock’s career with the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (NOJHF) spans over three decades. After spending the early part of her Jazz Festival career in the press office, Susan became the first Sponsorship Director for the Jazz Festival in 1994.

Her duties as Director include solicitation of sponsors, negotiation of contracts, and activation and fulfillment of agreements. She works closely with sponsors to develop and enhance their message, making them an integral part of the Festival experience.

Ms. Mock also manages sponsorships for Bayou Country Superfest, Florida Country Superfest and the Newport Folk and Jazz Festivals. In the past, she has been affiliated with the JVC Jazz Festival and the City Parks Foundation, both in New York City, as well as with the Freihofer’s Jazz Festival in Saratoga Springs.

A graduate of Bowdoin College, with a degree in English, Ms. Mock also completed the post-graduate Radcliffe College Publishing Program. She divides her time between mid-coast Maine and New Orleans, Louisiana.
