Ryu Yokoi

Ryu is a Brand Director at Unilever, where he has worked for eight years leading a variety of brands across the firm’s Foods, Refreshments and Personal Care portfolio. Currently, Ryu leads brand strategy, innovation and communication of the iconic Hellmann’s brand for North America.

Most recently, Ryu lead Men’s Deodorant brands for Unilever in the US, driving activation of Degree’s partnerships with US Soccer and the NCAA, and Dove Men + Care’s sponsorship of the 2013 ING NYC Marathon. His previous experience at Unilever includes roles on Lipton, Wish-Bone, Skippy, Hellmann's and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! He has contributed to the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan through various initiatives including the inclusion of Cage Free Eggs in Hellmann’s products and Lipton's partnership with the Rainforest Alliance.

Ryu earned his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a BA from Williams College in Political Economy. Outside of work, Ryu is a foo
