Alisa Volkman

Alisa Volkman is the Co-Founder of Babble, a leading website for parents and a platform for top women bloggers, which she launched with her husband, Rufus Griscom, in December 2006. Babble was acquired by The Walt Disney Company in 2011, where Alisa and Rufus continued to grow the property for two years, expanding internationally and across women’s lifestyle. She is currently at work on her next exciting project.

During her tenure at Disney, Alisa served as Senior Director of Product and Sales Strategy for Disney Interactive's Family Division, which consists of five digital properties and reaches over 17 million users per month. In her capacity as Senior Director, she oversaw revenue strategy, influenced product development, led a team that created and sold innovative content and social media executions for leading brands, as well as developed cross-platform revenue opportunities with other divisions of TWDC, including Studios, Parks, ABC, ESPN and Marvel.

Before launching Babble, Alisa served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Nerve.com, where she grew advertising into Nerve’s largest source of revenue.
Alisa and Rufus have three sons: Declan, Grey and Rye.
