Jay Haines

Following three years studying Locke and Descartes, I began my career as a graduate trainee at McCann-Erickson London. During my five years there I worked in both new business and account management, whilst also running the agency's graduate recruitment and mentoring programmes.
In 2001 I left to set up my own business, before moving into the world of communications recruitment with Kendall Tarrant where, amongst other things, I was responsible for growing the European remit of its business. During this time I worked with the two best recruiters in the business: Juliet Timms and Kendall Tarrant's founder, Gay Haines.
The three of us set up Grace Blue in 2006, quickly establishing ourselves in the British, European and Asian markets. In 2012 I moved to New York to set up our US operation and continue to make Grace Blue a company of which we are all really proud.
