Bozoma Saint John has blazed a trail in her marketing career; propelled across various industries including consumer packaged goods, music, digital entertainment, fashion, automotive and sports.

Building on her former experience as Vice President of Marketing for fashion brand, Ashley Stewart, and traditional advertising agency management at Arnold Worldwide and Spike Lee’s SpikeDDB, Bozoma continues to find innovative ways to build strong brand equity for the business under her leadership.

In her current role as the Head of Music and Entertainment Marketing at Pepsi-Cola North America she is tasked with driving breakthrough plans for the beverage giant’s portfolio brands including TM Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Lipton and Brisk. Bozoma has spearheaded 360º integrated programs which engage consumers through music, film, tv, print, online, grassroots, events, and retail vehicles.

In the last year alone, Boz has amplified celebrity endorsements with the Michael Jackson Estate in celebration of BAD’s 25th anniversary, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj’s Global Pepsi endorsements, Paramount Pictures’ release of the Katy Perry: Part of Me film, super group One Direction’s TV Commercial which placed them with NFL MVP Drew Brees, and promotional programs with country music icon Blake Shelton and rising star Hunter Hayes. She is driving PepsiCo’s music strategic vision into 2014 by propelling the Latin music agenda forward in amplifying a relationship with 3Ball MTY, as well as a ground-breaking partnership with Universal Music Group’s Latin music division. Her partnerships with the Super Bowl Half Time Show, The Grammys, SxSW, the Country Music Association and the MTV VMAs, to name a few, have broken through the media clutter to garner huge accolades.

Boz has been recognized by Billboard Magazine as one of the most influential women in the music industry; graced the cover of AdWeek as one of the boldest personalities in brand marketing, ranked by Fast Company as one of the 100 most Creative People in Business, listed by Black Enterprise Magazine as one of the top women executives in advertising and marketing, and named to Billboard’s prestigious Power Players list as one of the Top 40 Under 40.

A graduate of Wesleyan University, Bozoma is a native of Ghana, raised in Colorado, adopted daughter of New York City (HarlemWorld stand up!), an avid reader, Lael’s mommy, Tupac fanatic, and insatiable shoe-zealot!
