Laura Torres del Cueto

Laura Torres del Cueto graduated with a degree in International Relations and a degree in Marketing and Communication from the Tecnológico de Monterrey. She also studied Luxury Retail and Economics at FIU in Miami. In 2001 she joined HUGO BOSS and currently holds the position of General Director for Mexico and Latin America. Under her leadership, HUGO BOSS has grown while fostering a culture of social responsibility for its more than 200 employees. Laura has been President of the association of luxury brands in Mexico Altagama since 2015. She has been an active member of the Foro Retail México since January 2017 and of the Women Economic Forum since 2019.

In 2016, Laura was nominated as "One of the five most predominant women in fashion in Mexico" by Compra Moda Nacional and was selected by the "Tied Together" movement as an industry leader to take part in a national photographic exhibition. In August 2019, she was nominated as one of 26 leading women in Mexico by the magazine Mujer Ejecutiva. She was honored with the "Iconic Women Creating a Better World for All" award by the Women Economic Forum Mexico in October 2019.

Laura Torres del Cueto is committed to the luxury and fashion industry in Mexico and Latin America, which is why throughout her career she has carried a message of leadership. She has presented at many universities and before many prestigious media outlets, among which the following stand out: EY Strategic Growth Forum Mexico, Women Fast Forward: “Gender Parity and Business Value”, in the Digital Luxury Lab Global Forum “The most important luxury Brand & Travel Summit in Latin America”. She participated in the Women's Leadership Experience, with the panel “Derribando el Techo de Cristal” and was recently featured in the Expansión and Mexican Leaders magazines, in the edition "Creators of today Leaders of Tomorrow" in September of this year.
