Craig Inglis

Craig’s career began at Thomson Holidays. He joined Virgin in 1997 & rose to Sales & Marketing Director, Virgin Trains.
He joined John Lewis in 2008 as Head of Brand Communications, became Marketing Director in 2010, joined the Board as Customer Director in 2015 taking P&L responsibility for digital channels, customer experience, store development, sustainability, content, marketing & communications.

He famously moved the John Lewis brand to a more emotional positioning & its campaigns are now a benchmark for effectiveness, brand success & market-beating commercial performance, landing Cannes Creative Lions & Effectiveness Grand Prix, Marketing Society Brand of the Year twice, Marketing Society Long Term Marketing Award & IPA Effectiveness Grand Prix twice.

John Lewis was voted Campaign’s Advertiser of the Decade & scooped Campaign’s Big award for Consistent Creative Excellence in 2019.

Craig became non-executive Chairman of the Marketing Society in 2017 - he chairs the global Board.
