Thithi Nteta

With over 12 years’ experience in marketing, eventing, public relations and communications, Thithi is currently the Group Executive for Brand and
Business Growth at FCB Joburg and Hellocomputer and is a member of the
agency’s Executive Committee (Exco).

Thithi began her career as a broadcast designer and 2D animator, animating and storyboarding Incredible Connection and MTV Base promos. She then went on to work as a Fashion Assistant at Cosmopolitan Magazine, following which she took on the role of client service lead and producer at Eject Media at the tender age of 25, where she was responsible for positioning and launching Southern Africa’s most popular youth channel VUZU – something she cites as a highlight in her career.

A “creative suit,” Thithi then went on to work as a PR Manager on Nike Sportswear during the 2010 World Cup, following which she joined Red Bull South Africa, where she quickly moved from Culture Specialist to Regional
Marketing Manager for the entire Inland region.

After leaving Red Bull, Thithi embarked on a variety of things such as co-founding the THE WKND SOCIAL, writing for publications like Marie Claire, Elle Magazine, Grazia and The Times newspaper and even dabbled in event MCing when she stood on stage and hosted the Marie Claire Prix D&Excellence Beauty Awards and the House & Leisure’s Best of SA 2015 Awards and House & Leisure’s Trends Event.

During this time, she worked with Threefold Creative as client service lead, where she led projects for the African Leadership Institute, Unite4Mandela, 2014 C40 Cities Summit, and the Thebe Investments CI rebrand.

She also founded Thirteen Options Media, a consultancy that specialised in PR, Influencer Marketing strategy and relations management, insights and immersions services. The company’s ability to execute and deliver quality driven results, landed them retainer clients such as Nike Sportswear and G-Star RAW.
