Theo Theodorou

Theo Theodorou is UK Director for Microsoft Advertising. Previous to that he spent several years in advertising technology, including launching mobile location platform Groundtruth into EMEA as their General Manager.

Throughout his 27 year media career, Theo has been at the forefront of some of the biggest and innovative projects of their time. He was an instrumental part of the 2010 European iAd launch team at Apple, where he built the business development organisation working on innovative partnerships across Europe with some of the worlds’ most eminent brands. Theo was at the very start of mobile advertising in the Europe, joining ScreenTonic in 2006 as Head of Sales and Strategy (subsequently acquired by Microsoft). He was responsible for some of the first mobile adverts to appear in the UK. Theo is regularly invited to speak at events across the world, and is widely regarded as an industry expert across topics such as marketing, communication strategy and advertising technology.
