Tanya Joseph

A former journalist, she served as Press Secretary to a Cabinet Minister before moving to No 10 to work for the Prime Minister for over four years. Since leaving the civil service she moved between the agency world and in-house working at organisations including Mars, Sport England and the BBC.

She has taken a special interest in equality, diversity and inclusion issues. She works with clients to create more diverse and inclusive workplaces, engage with authenticity with diverse audiences and develop products and services for diverse customers and consumers. She has also supported clients through D&I related issues and crises, most recently advising organisations on how best to respond to the Black Lives Matter movement. She writes and speaks extensively about D&I issues and is chair of the Fawcett Society advisory board overseeing research into pay and progression for women of colour.
