Ant Middleton

Currently in his third season as Chief Instructor on Channel 4 hit show, ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’, Ant Middleton is a much-admired master of survival and endurance, driven by a formidable career in the UK’s elite forces.

An armed forces recruit at 16, Ant served in the Royal Marines, the 9 Parachute Squadron Royal Engineers and the Special Boat Service (SBS), sister unit of the SAS. Having achieved the ‘Holy Trinity’ of the UK’s Elite Forces, Ant embarked on a career in VIP security, before operating as a security expert for many African countries and training presidential security teams - all of which has led to a flourishing career in TV.

In 2017, Ant fronted Channel 4’s ‘Mutiny’ - a show re-enacting Captain William Bligh’s 3,500 mile voyage in which Ant captained a crew of 18 through the same physically strenuous and challenging voyage Bligh did in 1789 - as well as survivalist programme ‘Escape’, which required engineers to use their expert skills to escape precarious situations.
