Bender first joined ESPN as a Champions League reporter in 2004, and contributed to ESPN FC’s coverage of the 2010 World Cup, hosting a daily roundup show from the tournament. For the past two years, Bender has hosted “Weekend Bender,” a digital segment with a light-hearted take on football’s biggest matches in Europe, appearing every Friday on ESPN FC.
With more than 15 years of experience in the football industry, Bender has worked for various global sports channels including Premier League TV, Real Madrid TV, Chelsea TV and Sky Sports News.
