Johnny Hornby

Beginning his career at agencies including Ogilvy, CDP and TBWA, Hornby was quick to make his mark on the advertising industry. The last campaign he led at TBWA saw the UK’s Labour Government win a landslide victory in 2001. The following day he tendered his resignation, along with CEO Simon Clemmow, to form CHI&Partners.

Today, CHI&Partners is the UK’s fastest-growing agency from this decade, working with large domestic and international clients. It was the UK’s most-awarded independent agency in 2012/2013, and features in The Sunday Times’ Top Track 250 and International Track 200 as the UK’s fastest-growing ad agency, at home and internationally.

In 2013, Hornby launched The&Partnership – a WPP-backed communications group spanning multiple disciplines. The&Partnership comprises eleven businesses, spanning four continents, with 1,500 staff.
