Paul Muret

Paul Muret is Vice President of Display, Video and Analytics at Google. In this role, he oversees product management and engineering for YouTube's ads business, DoubleClick, and Google Analytics.

Paul has been instrumental in the development of Analytics since its inception in 2005. Previously, Paul was founder and CEO of two start-ups, including Urchin Software Corporation which was acquired by Google and served as the foundation for what would later become Google Analytics.

Before Urchin, Paul ran Quantified System, Inc., a San Diego-based web development and e-commerce hosting company. Paul — a graduate of the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) — was also a member of the UCSD Space Physics research team where he created visualization systems for large-scale simulations.
