Mark Palmer

Mark Palmer is the Founder of Maverick Planet. It specialises in facilitating strategic shift in business, brand development and behaviour. Clients include Google, The Economist, Sky, Ebay, Bupa, Samsung, Vodafone and English Cricket. In 2015, projects included two African elections, the progression of “quiet” as a core concept in manufacturing design, working with the charity Sported which supports volunteer coaches and helping Dennis develop concepts like Coach. Originally a student of maths and physics, Mark became a qualified market researcher, marketer and an experienced and lateral facilitator. For 20 years he was the Executive Head of Strategy and Communication Planning at some of the most regarded agencies, including: DDB, WCRS and OMD. Mark guest lectures on change at Henley School of Management. He is also an advisor to a small number of mobile start-up businesses – two of which are sports related.
