Harriet Vine

Harriet Vine MBE is Creative Director and co-founder of Tatty Devine - the go to brand for original, fun, acrylic statement jewellery. She’s a British design maverick who pushes the boundaries of what’s possible in jewellery.

Harriet studied Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art, where she met business partner Rosie Wolfenden MBE. They set up Tatty Devine from London’s east end in 1999 and are proud that all their jewellery is still designed and handmade in Britain.

When she’s designing, Harriet often recreates objects from the real world and is always challenging ideas of form and function, scale and material. The jewellery sparks conversation, which is perhaps what makes Tatty Devine such a joy to wear. There’s always a story behind it.

Harriet has hosted talks and workshops at the Guardian, V&A, The British Museum, Tate and Colette Paris. Collaborations under her (tool) belt include Jeremy Deller, Peter Jensen, Eley Kishimoto, Rob Ryan, Barbican, V&A and Gilbert & George.
