Simon Manchipp

His mum, his dad, his brother, his wife — even his cat is a designer. There was never any doubt, Simon was going to be a designer.

Over the past 20 years Simon’s been involved in creating transformative design solutions for brands both big and small. He started his career at Michael Peters before working his way up from Designer to Partner at HHCL — The Ad Agency of the Decade. He was a founder and Creative Director at NoOne, a branding specialist within HHCL, before setting up SomeOne with David Law, Gary Holt & Laura Hussey in 2005.

Simon studied at Central St. Martins, received a BA(Hons) and has since been a visiting Professor (even writing a short course on Typographic Design) as well as a trustee and Executive Member at D&AD. He lectures globally, from Goa to Guangzhou on commercial creativity.

He’s launched, relaunched & managed brands including Eurostar, London 2012 Olympic Games and Proctor & Gamble. He also met Al Pacino but called him Cappuccino. It was an honest mistake
