David Adam

David Adam is Founder and Principal of Global Cities and a consultant to cities, commercial and cultural organisations on global positioning. He has worked with public and private institutions in BRIC markets, including China and India, having established the Mayor of London’s economic development presence in Beijing, Shanghai, Mumbai, Delhi, and Moscow. He is an experienced speaker on global, urban, economic and future trends, the business of branding and commercialisation for places, and the importance of liveability in economic development, and contributes regularly to the MIPIM World Cities blog. He is an expert for the Urban Land Institute having advised the Mayor of Moscow on the city’s status as a global city in 2011. Most recently David has established a number of flagship thought-leadership and cultural exchange projects between London and China during the London 2012 Games.
