Miles joined Shazam in February 2012 as Vice President, Advertising Sales Europe to open the EMEA and APAC commercial office. The speed of change in mobile usage in consumers lives has been industry disrupting. Companies are having to adapt. Quickly. Across the intervening 3+ years over 500 International TV campaigns have been Shazam enabled with huge learning’s, successes, world firsts and accolades from all over the world being bestowed on Shazam.

Today, Shazam has more than 600 million users with more than 100 million active every month generating more than 600 million Shazam’s every month. Shazam is available in 33 languages in over 200 countries. Usage has exploded all over the world.

Recent announcements have been partnerships with Gimbal – for beacons, Digimarc – for visual Shazaming and Mood Media for in store. Shazam is becoming the norm.
