In this session...

An exciting workshop that will create powerful new ways of getting more young people engaged in politics. Only 39% of 18-24 year olds voted in the last General Election and so this age group has less of a voice than it could have in major political decisions. So FutureVote brings together a diverse group of thirty 15-16 year olds with designers and media mentors to co-create fresh ideas to change this situation. In the workshop, mixed groups will brainstorm ideas, testing them out and pitching them to a media panel.

It’s an opportunity for young people to learn new techniques for innovation and prototyping from top professionals. And in the process, News UK, The Advertising Association and The Ideas Foundation will showcase the benefits of including a make the case for advertising and media opening its doors to a much wider pool of talent...see 6pm showcase for the judging of the winning idea.
