Before joining TBWA, Peter Souter had spent 17 years in advertising, working his way up to become Executive Creative Director at the UK's largest and most successful agency: AMV BBDO. Yet, in 2010, he decided to take a break from the safe-haven of advertising to write and produce the ITV1 comedy 'Married, Single, Other', whilst also penning his first stage production 'Hello\Goodbye'. This experience, of earning and keeping an audiences' attention both inside and outside of the commercial break, gives him an unique perspective on the challenges advertising people face in a world ridden with distraction.
