Nadia Tuma-Weldon, SVP and Director of McCann Truth Central, is one of the primary forces behind McCann Worldgroup’s thought leadership. Since joining Truth Central in 2013, she has led two waves of the Truth about Privacy, The Truth about Global Brands, and Truth about Age, a study which aims to deeply understand the concept of age across a person’s entire lifetime. Nadia also created the McCann Tastemakers Council, an initiative dedicated to unearthing truths about the luxury category and affluent consumer.
Nadia’s passion lies in observing and interpreting cultural truths, how those truths evolve, and the role brands play in within their context.
Nadia recently returned to New York after being based in the Asia Pacific for 18 months to run global studies out of the region. She continues to partner extensively with APAC markets to translate the global studies to fit local needs and nuances, and deepen McCann’s understanding of Eastern cultures. In her spare time, she can usually be found on a yoga mat or exploring Brooklyn.
