Ms. Kaori Sasaki is Producer and Chair of the the International Conference for Women in Business (www.women.co.jp/conf/), which just celebrated its 22nd year, the largest annual working women's conference of its kind in Japan with the longest history and highest satisfaction rate, which many Ministers have attended, including Prime Minister Abe.
She founded and runs two companies, Unicul International Inc., and ewoman, Inc., and serves on several public corporate boards such as NEC Corporation, KOBAYASHI Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Japan Post Co., Ltd., and AGP Corporation.
Conscious of her civic duty, she also serves/ed on many councils for the Ministries of Health, Labor and Welfare, of Education, of Economy, Trade and Industry, and of Information and Technology, including the Regulatory Reform Council of the Cabinet Office to which she was appointed by Prime Minister Abe.
She is a sought-after speaker who appears regularly as a commentator on various media and makes speeches about diversity management, time management, work-life balance, and new marketing methods. She has made over 1500 speeches in Japan and overseas, including at OECD and APEC. She has written several bestselling books and is a former anchor of the weekly television show “CBS 60 Minutes” in Japan.
