Charles Zhang

After graduating from Nankai University, he served as various senior positions at Marubeni Corporation, Nortel Networks, and Cisco Systems. He earned MBA from University of California, San Diego. In 2010 he joined Baidu, Inc., as director of International Business Development, with his deep understanding of internet and telecommunication industry. He has been contributing to expand Baidu’s global business by overseeing branches in Japan, Egypt, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia. He is fluent in Japanese, English, Korean, Mandarin, and Cantonese. In January, 2013, he became the Vice President of Baidu Japan Inc. and later became the President & CEO of Baidu Japan Inc.
