James Ngo

James Ngo is Executive Vice President of Franchise Management at Legendary Entertainment, where he drives strategies to expand revenue for Legendary IPs across film, television, and digital. He oversees Interactive, Location Based Entertainment, Consumer Products, and Promotions & Partnerships globally, managing relationships with partners such as Toho, The Pokémon Company, and Herbert Properties. At Legendary, he has led major 360 programs for the Monsterverse, Pacific Rim, Pokémon Detective Pikachu, and built the Dune franchise from the ground up. Previously, Ngo spent nearly a decade at Fremantle, overseeing licensing and branding for American Idol, America’s Got Talent, The X-Factor, The Price Is Right, and Family Feud. He later served as VP of Licensing and Business Development at Earthbound Brands, managing programs for lifestyle and media brands including Instyle, Covergirl, DuPont, and Sharknado.
