David DeMuth

David’s first job was in the produce section at a grocery store. It was there he became
fascinated with how people shop and buy. David is still focused on how consumers perceive brands, make decisions and establish loyalty.
As the CEO of Doner, David has spent 35+ years helping the agency best serve its clients, attract top talent and transform it into the modern marketing machine it is today.
David is a walk-around leader who believes creativity and accountability can coexist in harmony, details and speed matter, and bureaucracy sucks.
When David is not in the hallways of Doner, he’s on a tennis court. David founded and is co-director of an ATP Tour event. He coaches and is a mentor for a WTA player. He’s helping grow the game through his support of the Palmer Park Tennis Academy in Detroit, an organization that introduces the game to underserved youth.
