Vinny, a first-generation South Asian American Filmmaker, Performer and Producer, weaves his unique cultural perspective into every facet of his work. Vinny's projects have graced esteemed events like the Lighthouse International Film Festival, Seattle's Tasveer Film Festival, Holly Shorts, and the New York Shorts Festival. Vinny's storytelling prowess has earned him representation as a director at the Maverick Agency. He is equally accomplished in the realm of scriptwriting, receiving recognition from the Sundance Film Lab and Austin Comedy Lab. In 2021, Vinny expanded his creative horizons by launching a la fresca, a POC led production company that has crafted captivating commercial spots for clients, including NET-A-PORTER, HYPEBEAST, ARMANI, DISNEY, and more. A la fresca's DE&I initiative, the WAVE, is something Vinny's the most proud of. As it gives underserved storytellers access to the media industry through the commercial realm.
