Mel McShane
Mel McShane is an independent Executive Strategy Director, leading major global brand engagements. She consults for Fortune 500 clients, renowned agencies, and LGBTQ+ SMB founders.
Mel has held management positions at top brand consultancies Wolff Olins and Siegel+Gale, in New York and Globally. She also co-chaired global DE&I efforts at S+G. With over two decades of Brand Strategy experience she's passionate about sustaining diverse teams, and the power of brands to drive economic and societal impact.
Mel is responsible for transformational work for brands such as Google, Grubhub, Hyatt,, KPMG, Microsoft, Netflix, PwC, SAP, TenCent, Uber, and Zocdoc. She and her teams have received recognition from Fast Company, Clios, Transform and the AMA. A regular commentator in the media and panelist, she’s featured in publications such as Campaign, Ad Age, WSJ, FT, Economist, and Guardian. Mel holds an MA in PPE from Oxford University, and is a Londoner who calls New York home.
