Albert Lee represents primarily platform-driven nonfiction, with an emphasis on diverse and outsider storytellers, bold personalities on the page, and unique “big idea” books with a strong value proposition for the reader. He very selectively represents children’s authors, with a particular interest in multi-platform intellectual property with franchise potential. He spent the first two decades of his career as an editor and journalist before joining independent literary agency Aevitas Creative Management, where he signed and represented such clients as National Public Radio, the estates of Albert Einstein and Muhammad Ali, meditation teacher Bob Roth, actor-activist Gabrielle Union, and tech diversity pioneer Ellen Pao.
