Janelle James is the technology, media, and DEI lead for Ipsos qualitative in North America ensuring we bring the best resources, approaches, and thought leadership to these engagements.
She is an experienced global marketing strategist, consumer expert, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion specialist with truly integrated expertise across communications disciplines, industries, target audiences, and functions. In her 20+ year career, she has led integrated agency teams, developed global campaigns, conducted research in 15+ countries, launched new products and services, and amplified a broad range of consumer voices as a researcher, marketer, and consultant. Janelle has a BA and MBA from Harvard University, enjoys learning about new cultures, and has lived in the US, France, Italy, and the UK. She's recently published 3 DEI related opinion pieces on performative activism, why DEI is the new digital, and connecting authentically with Black Americans.
