Josh Dean

Josh Dean is a journalist, author and co-founder of the narrative audio studio, Campside Media, which has produced 18 series in less than three years of existence, with at least 20 more in production or underway soon. Campside specializes in tentpole limited series' — including the hit franchises "Suspect" and Chameleon" — and has produced event programming for most major distributors, including Sony Music, Wondery/Amazon Music, Apple, iHeart, and Cadence13. As a host, Dean co-created Campside's first show, Chameleon: Hollywood Con Queen, which peaked at #2 on the charts and helped solve a crime, and then made the Apple Original show, Hooked, which was nominated for Podcast of the Year by the Podcast Academy.

Prior to founding Campside, he co-created the hit podcast, The Clearing, which was called a “new true-crime classic” by The New Yorker and spent nearly two months at #1 on the Apple podcast charts. Dean has also written long form features for dozens of national magazines and is the author of two books, Show Dog and The Taking of K-129. His third book, The Impossible Factory, about the legendary aerospace designer Kelly Johnson and his Lockheed Skunk Works, in the works for Dutton.
