Yesenia Bello

Yesenia Bello kicked off her tenured career in media sales at Telemundo Network after graduating from the City University of New York, College of Staten Island with a Bachelor of Science in Communications.

At Telemundo, the second largest Spanish Language TV Network in the U.S., Ms. Bello supported the development of the multi-million-dollar advertising business for two major regions, New York and Chicago.

Shortly after, Ms. Bello made the timely move to the subscription video start up, Hulu. At Hulu, Ms. Bello held a National Multicultural role, allowing her to partner with major brands across the United States. After several years at Hulu, Ms. Bello transitioned to Google where she focused on Multicultural strategy and sales for YouTube advertisers. Following her success at Google, Ms. Bello joined the iHeartMedia team in 2019, where she led Multicultural advertising strategy and sales for the organization. This position led Ms. Bello to an exciting new space, the Diversity and Inclusion and Human Resources function, becoming iHeart’s first-ever SVP of Diversity & Inclusion. In this role, Ms. Bello will work closely with Michele Laven, iHeartMedia’s Chief Diversity Officer, to drive comprehensive long-term and measurable diversity and inclusion strategies.

Ms. Bello immigrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic at the age of 11. Coming from a working-class immigrant family, Ms. Bello is deeply passionate about mentoring and creating opportunities for underrepresented groups.
