Miwa Takaki

Miwa (@mammamiwa) is head of creator monetization product for Pinterest. In her role, she is responsible for building products that help creators earn money for pursuing and sharing their passions. She was previously responsible for building out all the tools creators need to tell their story on the platform from in-app video recording and editing to made-for-doing publishing features like instructions and ingredients templates. Prior to Pinterest, she led the global Recommendations product team at eBay where she built end to end data products including the first personalization platform used to power product recommendations. Outside of work, you can find Miwa adventuring on road trips, hiking, and running. This year she summited Mt. Whitney and Mt. Shasta - both which have been on her bucket list for a while - and is looking forward to running her fifth NYC marathon this November.
