In this panel, Indeed's VP of Global Brand Marketing, Jennifer Warren and Care.com’s General Manager of Consumer and Enterprise, Natalie Maylisch will speak to how the job market has shifted over the last year, with a specific focus on how this impacts women and working mom’s. Looking forward they will explore how women and working mothers can navigate the new state of work, and how employers can best accommodate them.

Employers and job seekers have completely changed the way they think about work, and as a result, the job market has shifted. Record high unemployment at the onset of the pandemic, hiring shortages, and an alarming exodus of nearly 3 million women leaving the workforce have all created massive change in the employment landscape. Indeed has remained at the center of it all, working with economists to track weekly labor market insights through Indeed’s Hiring Lab. Additionally, Care.com also continues to lead in the space, providing new and valuable insight into workplace retention, culture and care with regards to women in the workforce.
It’s clear from these insights, that women and working moms have been disproportionately affected. View Less
