In this session...

As the world gets smaller and our collective challenges become greater how can the global sports platform be used to effect positive social change and what role do million-dollar sports franchises, teams, star athletes and brand partners play if any? AEG, LA Kings and Dignity Health discuss how brands and rights holders can engage in a meaningful way through partnerships with purpose and why it makes both dollars and sense.

Sports inspire devotion. Their popularity has led to a multi-billion-dollar industry that is only slated to grow and predicted to reach $440.77 billion in 2021 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.5%. At the same time, COVID-19 has changed the world as we know it and like many industries, the live sports and entertainment space has had to adjust the way it does business. At AEG, that has meant finding unique ways to entertain fans, add value for brand partners, and perhaps most importantly support the local communities where it does business all around the world at a time when it’s needed most. But what exactly does that look like and why is it so important? View Less
