Scott N. Brown is the Head of TV and Audio Products at Nielsen. In this role, he is responsible for the overall strategy, roadmaps, and product execution across National TV, Local TV, and Audio/Radio. Since joining Nielsen in 2009, Scott has held various roles across product management and technology. Most recently, he served as CTO and spearheaded a technology modernization initiative, which deployed a cloud-first platform which now underpins the products that he leads.
At Nielsen, Scott plays a key role in leadership development programs. He has served as the Media Business Champion for Nielsen’s Emerging Leaders Program and is an executive sponsor of Nielsen’s “N-Gen”, an employee resource group that connects associates of all generations, backgrounds and experiences. Scott also works closely with Think Big for Kids, an organization that is part of Boys & Girls Clubs that helps underprivileged youth discover their potential by providing a structured mentorship and career development program.
A Florida native, Scott attended the University of Florida and was recently named a “Top 40 Under 40” honoree by The Tampa Bay Business Journal. Outside of work, you can find Scott spending time with his wife, Melanie, and their two baby girls, Gabrielle & Camille.
