Amani Duncan

Recognized by her peers as one of the most dynamic executives in the music business, MTV
named Mrs. Amani Duncan as Senior Vice President of Music.

In her role, Duncan will further strengthen MTV’s music industry relationships through artist-
driven initiatives and campaigns, and work closely with its development teams to create music

content. She will report dually to Chris McCarthy, President of MTV, VH1 and Logo, and Bruce
Gillmer, Head of Music and Music Talent for Viacom’s Global Entertainment Group.

A 20-year music industry veteran, Duncan was chosen for her contributions to the music industry, with experience that runs the gamut from artist relations to visual marketing, campaign
creation and strategic partnership negotiations.
