Joan Smalls
Puerto Rican model Joan Smalls’ career skyrocketed in 2010 when she was booked to walk the Spring/Summer 2010 show for Givenchy Couture. Smalls has since featured in campaigns for Chanel, Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford, and has walked in over 400 shows for luxury houses. She has also walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for six consecutive years, including its Swim Special filmed in Puerto Rico.
Joan has been listed on the Business Of Fashion 500 list from 2013 – 2018. In 2011, she was named the face of Estée Lauder cosmetics, becoming the first Latina model to hold the title.
Smalls ranked first on models.com for two consecutive years, and was awarded the title of “Model of the Year” at the Ninth Annual Style Awards. To date, Smalls has appeared on the covers of nearly two-dozen international editions of Vogue (including the 2014 September issue of the American edition) photographed by Mario Testino, Steven Meisel, Peter Lindbergh, Patrick Demarchelier, Craig McDean, Mario Sorrenti, David Sims, Norman Jean Roy, Sebastian Kim, and Terry Richardson.
