Alex Kronman

Alex Kronman is the Founder and CEO of flytedesk, a leading tech platform that connects brands, political organizations, and advocacy groups with the all-important college market. With its end-to-end platform, advertisers are able to reach college students directly through college media – including newspapers, billboards, digital media brands, podcasts and on campus signage, and speak to them where they live, learn, and socialize. 
 
While editor of his college paper, The Catalyst, Alex realized how crucial college media is as a training ground for journalists and civic education for students. He was also struck by the diminished funding and lack of a modern business model and made it his mission to help build a better future for college media. He created flytedesk at 25 years old and since then, has worked to connect brands and college students, delivering advertising dollars to help college media grow and thrive.
