Chanel Ward

Chanel is a higher education administrator and a diversity and inclusion curriculum and training consultant. This foundation coupled with a certification as a Professional Coach (CPC), has allowed Chanel to partner with institutions, to find areas of growth that speak to their unique organizational needs. Recently named a “Diversity Champion” (December 2016), by the Fairfield and Westchester Business Journal, Chanel has a clear passion and commitment to guide both public and private institutions to greater systems of equity.

Outside of this work, Chanel also serves on the Board of Directors for Transart & Cultural Services, a Hudson Valley non-profit multi-disciplined organization that promotes awareness of the art, history, and popular culture of people of African Ancestry. Additionally, Chanel is a current advisory board member of FairFrame, a software startup that helps users spot unconscious bias and gives in-the-moment support in making confident, informed and effective decisions.
Chanel Ward is the current Associate Director of Diversity Education and Training within the Center for Multicultural Education and Programs at New York University (NYU) and resides in the Hudson Valley region of New York with her partner, two daughters, and Olde English Bulldogge.
