Valerie De La Rosa

Valerie De La Rosa is a cultural trends pioneer and foresight practitioner who distills latent signals in the zeitgeist into revenue-generating product concepts for entertainment, fashion, beauty, and tech brands through the lens of innovation. Voraciously discovers outliers long before mainstream adoption. Thinks in vertical video and GIF keywords. Eats pop culture for breakfast.

Valerie has unlocked the zeitgeist for some of the best brands in the world including Vogue, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, Facebook, Virgin Mobile, Nordstrom, and Sony; she has created a culture of innovation in media organizations and advertising agencies. In her prior role as head of marketing at Conde Nast Entertainment, she developed new products and campaigns across platforms including social, 360/VR, TVOD, and OTT. She is a speaker on memes and trends for organizations such as P&G, National Retail Federation, Argyle Digital Forum, ContentSEO New York, and Oregon State University.

Valerie believes in local advocacy as pathway to building and shaping cities of the future. She was recently appointed as a Board Member for New York City Council’s Community Board 2 in Manhattan by Council Speaker Corey Johnson, and is a member of the Metropolitan Opera’s Young Associates.

Valerie is also a 2018 92Y Women In Power Fellow.

Valerie has a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from The University of Texas at Austin.
