Jon Manel

Jon Manel is the Podcast Commissioning Editor at BBC World Service English. Jon was the first podcast editor to be appointed at the BBC. He has been transforming the World Service’s podcast collection, with series like “Death in Ice Valley”, which became an international hit. He’s behind the new podcast, “Kalki Presents: My Indian Life”, aimed at young adults in India, which is already doing well in India’s nascent podcast market. Jon is also an award winning investigative journalist and podcast maker and created and presented the critically acclaimed and award winning “The Adoption”, along with “Body on the Moor”.
