Deena Beach

Deena Beach is Vice President, Marketing Strategy, Freeform, reporting to Tricia Melton, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Creative & Branding.

In this position, Beach leads marketing strategy development for all series and network initiatives as well as the development of all consumer marketing campaigns, including overseeing off-air and on-air media planning.

In her current role, she led the launches of Freeform’s hit series “The Bold Type,” “grown-ish,” “Siren,” and “Cloak & Dagger.” Beach joined the network (then ABC Family) in 2010 as Senior Manager, Media Planning Strategy and subsequently transitioned to a consumer marketing role, overseeing plan development for the launches of series like “Pretty Little Liars,” “Switched at Birth,” “The Fosters” and “Shadowhunters.” Beach was part of the team that transitioned ABC Family to Freeform.

Prior to joining the network (then ABC Family) in 2010, Beach held various positions at Starcom Mediavest Group in Chicago and Los Angeles, working on accounts as varied as Applebee’s, Allstate & Walt Disney Pictures.

Beach graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from Northwestern University in 2003. She lives in Orange County with her husband and two children.
