Sara Okin Livengood is the VP of Product at Refinery29, the leading digital-media & entertainment company focused on young women. In her 6 years at Refinery29, she has focused on commerce & product development including, overseeing a full site redesign. In addition to leading Refinery29’s consumer-facing products, Sara is responsible for the company’s bespoke content management system, DASH, that allows its creators to publish content to its owned & operated sites & other distribution channels.
With her background in e-commerce & merchandising, Sara has been instrumental in growing Refinery’s commerce offerings. She led the relaunch of the new shopping section of the R29 site in 2017, increasing traffic & introducing new monetization opportunities.
Previously, Sara focused on merchandising & new site launches at Quidsi, an Amazon company & worked on their flagship brand, Diapers.com. She also helped launch Wag.com, Look.com & Beautybar.com during her tenure there.
