Annie Granatstein

Annie heads up The Washington Post’s in-house creative agency, WP BrandStudio, shepherding inventive multimedia programs for hundreds of major brands, including Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, Prudential, Paramount, FX, Canon, Allstate, AT&T, Dell, Samsung, Mercedes, Jaguar and Audi.

In just the past three years, she has dramatically increased revenue, staff and number of advertisers, garnering a slew industry accolades from leading organizations, including Webby, Digiday, OMMA, Pearl, FCS, min, MarCom and dotCOMM. She has also led talks at numerous industry events, ranging from SXSW to the IAB Leadership Summit.

A true business/creative blend, Annie’s rich content background spans the gamut from content strategy and creation to copywriting and video production. She began her career in Hollywood, where she was an entertainment attorney and producer negotiating mega-deals for actors, directors, screenwriters and producers and developing feature films. She holds a JD from UCLA Law School, where she graduated #7 in her class and a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University where she was awarded Phi Beta Kappa.
