Whitney Fishman Zember

Whitney Fishman Zember earned her place on Forbes' 30 Under 30 List in 2013 for her role leading the Innovation & Consumer Technology team, at WPP’s MEC, one of the world’s largest media agency networks (currently known as Wavemaker). Today she is responsible for helping the agency and its clients understand the role of technology in driving consumer behavior, uncovering opportunities for brands to connect with audiences in meaningful ways.
It is her natural curiosity, passion and dynamism that has made her a trusted advisor to Wavemaker’s global and national clients, and a sought out expert on technology’s impact on marketing communications, resulting in published perspectives in Forbes, Fast Company, Wired, WWD, AdAge and more. Her work has also earned her recognition as an Innovator of the Year by the Internationalist in 2016
Since joining the agency in 2013, Whitney has introduced new client learning and communication tools, created an agency-wide 'Project Innovation’ initiative, revamped its thought leadership program, and architected a Start-up Management curriculum that provides a direct connection to the growing start-up community. She is also the mastermind behind numerous client summits, innovation events and retail experiences curating content that not only inspires but ensures a clear path for future impact.

Whitney's previous experience includes positions at MediaVest, where she launched MediaVest's agency-dedicated, client-facing consultancy providing consumer trends and insights to national and multinational clients, and at Buzz Marketing Group, leading planning, research and execution of viral and online marketing campaigns nationwide. Whitney also co-founded an independent music label – Summer Records - specializing in artist relations, public relations, and marketing at age 19.
