Ari Weiss joined DDB North America as Chief Creative Officer in February 2017. In his first six months, he led DDB Chicago to win Miller Lite and helped We Are Unlimited win its first Cannes Lion, contributing to 2,700% YOY growth at the Festival. He’s also attracted some of the world’s best talent including: Toygar Bazarkaya (CCO for We Are Unlimited), Colin Selikow (ECD at DDB Chicago), Britt Hayes (Head of People at DDB NA), and Eric Zuncic (Chief Strategic Officer at DDB NA). This year Weiss was named to Crain's 40 under 40, Adweek’s Creative 100 and the 4A’s 100 People Who Make Advertising Great. He adds these honors to over 200 awards won for such storied brands as PlayStation, Axe, The NBA, Nike, FedEx, Guinness and Netflix - the latter for which he won the Cannes Integrated Grand Prix in 2016. Prior to DDB, Weiss worked at some of the industry’s most respected agencies including: BBH, Wieden & Kennedy, GS&P, BBDO, 180LA and Cliff Freeman & Partners, where he started his career.
