Carla Harris is Vice Chairman and Managing Director at Morgan Stanley. In August 2013, she was appointed by President Barack Obama to chair the National Women’s Business Council. Ms. Harris has been named to many prestigious lists, including Fortune magazine’s 50 Most Powerful Black Executives in Corporate America, Essence magazine’s 50 Women Who Are Shaping the World and U. S. Bankers Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance. Ms. Harris is a member of the 2015 Class of the New Jersey Hall of Fame and sits on many philanthropic boards. Ms. Harris is also an accomplished singer and has released three gospel CDs and performed 5 sold out concerts @ Carnegie Hall. She is the author of Strategize to Win and Expect to Win. She is a graduate of Harvard University, magna cum laude, and of the Harvard Business School.
