Matthew McLaughlin

Matt is a veteran creative strategist, and producer. He got his start in New York as a production coordinator before founding a commercial production company, Macula Films, at 23. At Macula, Matt produced award-wining work for several prominent brands including Dockers, Macy's, Sharpie, and Coors.
Matt has since creative directed a number of campaigns in a diverse range of industries, including TV ads and longform web content for Bill de Blasio’s campaign for Mayor of New York City, as well as Airbnb's first-ever campaign for broadcast. He's worked with a number of publishers to create both original and branded video series. He brought Reddit into the native content space with it's first native advertising program, Formative, created for Google, along with leading Upworthy's first original series and People.com's first major native program. In addition to the de Blasio's campaign, Matt ran media strategy and creative for John Fetterman's U.S. Senate campaign in Pennsylvania in 2016, and was at the helm creatively for a number of tv, digital, and social commercials for Bernie Sander's presidential campaign.
