Executive Creative Director Dan Brooks has spent his career creating innovative, buzz-worthy, and award-winning work for brands around the globe. Originally a British native, Dan began running a successful digital agency in London, where he created viral content for clients such as Volkswagen, MTV, GlaxoSmithKline, and EA Games. Dan then joined the team at 180 Amsterdam, where he oversaw creative on DHL's largest-ever global campaign, “Speed of Yellow.” He later traveled to South Africa to work on the 2010 World Cup adidas campaign; this work received a Tomorrow Award and CLIO for its success. For this effort, Dan’s work was recognized by the industry as Campaign Magazine’s Advertiser of the Year, the SIS Integrated Campaign of the Year, and the Art Directors Club’s award-winner for Illustration.
After stints in London, Amsterdam, and Montreal, Dan joined Sid Lee New York as a Partner and Executive Creative Director. He has led the charge for Sid Lee’s work with the Absolut brand as well as Sid Lee Collective, an ongoing program that allows Sid Lee employees to work on passion projects under the agency’s name. In the future, Dan is enthusiastic about growing the young talent at Sid Lee while pushing the agency to be not only creative, but the most progressive it can be.
